Oil Only absorbents are hydrophobic. They absorb oil and repel water.* They are able to separate oil from water. Sheets, rolls, snakes, drum toppers, booms, sweeps and pillows from our oil only range are fast acting and highly absorbent, showing excellent tensile properties. They are used on shorelines for stopping oil reaching land, in fuel dispensing areas and other applications. Floating on water even when saturated, they are particularly suitable for marine spill control. Used absorbents can be properly incinerated to reduce disposal cost.

Oil only pulp booms have UV resistant polypropylene raschel outer netting and spundbond inner skin for extra strength and excellent oil retention. Pure polypropylene meltblown pulp filler ensures maximum absorbency. The booms are fitted with clips, rings and rope to form continuous boom. Delivered in polyethylene wrapping.
