About us

Gunter Teichmann founded ESV GmbH in 1987 in Bechtolsheim, Rhineland-Palatinate, to develop, manufacture, and distribute oil and chemical absorbents. After more than a quarter of a century, the company—relocated in 1999 to its current site in Blankenrath—has established itself as a well-known market player in the industry with around 15 employees.

Currently, ESV GmbH serves 300 to 400 active customers, primarily including automotive parts wholesalers, industrial companies, oil distributors, fire departments, and towing services. Half of the products offered are manufactured in-house, while the other 50 percent consist of trading goods from various European manufacturers. Approximately 30 percent of sales are exported through distributors, who mainly supply customers in Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Switzerland.

All our products are suitable for the removal of oil and chemicals, ranging from pallet-delivered bagged goods with a maximum individual weight of 20 kg to big bags prepared for on-site order picking, which we primarily deliver to customers abroad.

Since its founding, ESV GmbH has offered its product range under the brand name OEL-KLEEN. The portfolio includes various types of granules in different quality levels, fleece cloths in roll form, water protection products, emergency kits for agriculture and forestry as well as for occupational safety and industry, manhole covers, and protective kits for hazardous material transport.

For dust-free sweeping of large areas in halls, storage rooms, workshops, and anywhere cleanliness and floor care are important, ESV GmbH offers OEL-KLEEN dust-binding sweeping chips.

Designed according to their area of application, these sweeping chips clean contaminated surfaces as thoroughly as they do gently. We provide our customers with an exceptionally broad and high-quality product range. As a full-range supplier, we cover the entire price spectrum from entry-level to premium segments. Additionally, we always keep 10,000 bags of absorbent material in stock for immediate delivery.
