Oil Only absorbents are hydrophobic. They absorb oil and repel water.* They are able to separate oil from water. Sheets, rolls, snakes, drum toppers, booms, sweeps and pillows from our oil only range are fast acting and highly absorbent, showing excellent tensile properties. They are used on shorelines for stopping oil reaching land, in fuel dispensing areas and other applications. Floating on water even when saturated, they are particularly suitable for marine spill control. Used absorbents can be properly incinerated to reduce disposal cost.

Oil only absorbent snakes are filled with pure polypropylene meltblown pulp for excellent absorbency and retention properties. Stitched spunbond outer provides extra durability.
